  • When cleaning a Candle-lite glass candle holder, avoid scratching with a metal object. Scratching the inner or outer surfaces weakens the glass and could lead to breakage.

  • Burning for no more than 4 hours at each lighting will provide for the most efficient and safe use of your candles.

  • Keep burning Candle-lite candles away from drafts. Air vents, open windows, ceiling fans and doors may all create air currents that will cause the flame to smoke. Over a period of time, this smoking may effect home décor.

  • When arranging a group of candles, take care not to place them too close together. The heat from one may melt another.

  • As with all products containing fragrance oils, the possibility of an allergic reaction exists. Discontinue use if any symptoms occur.

  • Store Candle-lite candles in a cool, dry environment. Keep out of direct sunlight, which may cause them to fade.

  •
  • Light and quickly extinguish candles before your special event begins. They will light quicker and easier when needed.

  • Candles that have been refrigerated will burn slower and more even. Wrap them in plastic wrap or foil to prevent the wick from absorbing moisture.

  • Use a soft cloth or an old nylon stocking to clean and shine solid candles

  • Wax can be removed from linens, upholstery and carpeting by running a warm iron over a paper towel or brown paper bag. With washable fabrics, try rinsing with hot water.

  • Votive holders will clean with ease if a small amount of water is added before adding the votive candle. Freezing the votive cup or rinsing with hot water after use will also make clean up a breeze.

  • Avoid use of an excessive number of candles in a confined area.
Scented candles may cause illness to some birds and other animals.
Use caution when burning them near valued pets.
